  • The caliber Audemars Piguet 2225 is a mechanical bi-directional self-winding m, rhodium-plated with fausses côtes embellishment, and constructed with 40 jewels. It has an annular balance, a shock absorber device, and a straight-line lever escapement. In addition, it includes a monometallic balance with variable inertia block that is adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism, and 5 positions, a self-compensating flat balance-spring, a rotor mounted on ceramic ball bearings with oscillating weight segment in 24K gold, and the bevels on the bridge are diamond graved, and a stop balance when setting the time (stops seconds hand). 
    This mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vhp (4 Hz).
